Video compilation of over forty years in the history of video, in a box set containing five DVDs and a booklet. The box set is part of a project that includes a website where over 250 works may be viewed freely.


Apología/Antología: Video Itineraries through the Spanish Context


The DVD box contains eighty-five titles (647 minutes) that aim to unfold the genealogical map of the audiovisual format, so little known in Spain. Each disc is dedicated to an itinerary which revolves around themes proposed by one of the five curators that make up the editorial team: Aimar Arriola, Eugeni Bonet, Gonzalo de Pedro, Neus Miró and Arturo/fito Rodríguez.


The edition of Apología/Antología has been created upon the initiative of Eli Lloveras (director of HAMACA) and Anna Manubens, and co-produced by Hamaca, Tabakalera, and Universidad del País Vasco(UPV/EHU), in collaboration with AC/E (Acción Cultural Española), MECD, the Regional Government of Catalonia, Hangar, and Cameo.
