Alberto González Vázquez is a writer, producer and editor. He works with a wide variety of techniques and formats: script, comic, video clip, advertising, found footage, animation, collage, illustration, story or imaginary WhatsApp dialogues. His works have achieved wide diffusion on the internet and social networks, reaching hundreds of millions of views.
Since 2006 he has been working on the television program El Intermedio (La Sexta) where he is in charge of the script and the production of the manipulated videos, short comic pieces that rework the current news and separate the contents of the program.
He has published the books "Todos los hijos de puta del mundo" (Caramba, 2016) and "Humor cristiano" (Caramba, 2012), chosen by Rockdelux magazine among the 50 best comics of the decade.
He is the author of a dozen music videos, including Nuevas formas de hacer el ridículo by Carolina Durante, Ratonera by Amaral, Música para adultos by Joe Crepúsculo or Tu puto grupo by Los Punsetes.
His animation pieces have won more than thirty awards in national and international competitions and include titles such as Los Reyes Magos (2011), El fin del mundo (2010), Cirugía (2006) or Un día con Amenábar (2003). In December 2019 he received the Gràffica Award, highlighted by the jury "for making pure magic in each of the languages he works with".
In addition, he has created animations on texts by Juan José Millás (El mundo de Millás, Canal Plus) and has participated as an associate producer in the film Los cronocrímenes (Nacho Vigalondo, 2007) and in the short film Democracia (2013), his own script directed by Borja Cobeaga, which won more than a hundred awards.
A regular contributor to the satirical newspaper El Mundo Today and the former magazine Orgullo y Satisfacción (2014-2018), he has published cartoons, texts and audiovisual pieces in various media and anthologies.
