With the aim of continuing to expand and influence thinking around the moving image, HAMACA Publications is a series of digital editions that bring together the written works resulting from the various calls for research support. In addition to this series, Hamaca also develops some other publications that arise from collaborations and specific projects of a more particular nature. The research is socialised through freely downloadable and transferable documents.

In 2016 HAMACA also published Apología/Antología: Recorridos por el vídeo en el contexto español, the first anthology that brings together outstanding productions of videographic practices developed in Spain. The project has a DVD pack edition and its web version apologiantologia.net.
