Élan d'Orphium is a sylvan, a wild, a bawd, a pájara, a rogue, a bicha, a queen bee, a floozy, a classy worker, a feathered, a sissy, a hairy and, in their spare time, an artist. Their work proposes re-readings of gender in a broad sense through a confabulating interpretation of eavesdropping, gestures and observations with species from other realms.
Graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid (2010-2014) with Erasmus at UAL Camberwell College (London, 2014). In 2018 they is studying for a Master's degree in Contemporary Art Research and Creation (MIAC). They has participated in projects for Intermediae (Madrid, 2018), the programmes Pero... esto es arte? (2019) and Picnic sessions (2023 and 2025) at CA2M (Móstoles), Circuitos de Artes plásticas de la Comunidad de Madrid (Madrid, 2021), MataderoCrea at Centro de Residencias Artísticas de Matadero (Madrid, 2021), Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (Madrid, 2022), Fundación BilbaoArte (Bilbao, 2022), Schwules Museum (Berlin, 2022), Bulegoa z/b (Bilbao, 2022), Fundació Joan Brossa (Barcelona, 2023), INJUVE (2023), Concomitentes (2024) and GIRA at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid, 2023-24), among others.
