Enar de Dios Rodríguez (1986, Ourense) is a visual artist whose interdisciplinary work includes video, photography, and installation. Her most recent projects have focused on the production of space, paying attention to its socio-political and environmental consequences. She graduated in Translation from the Universidade de Vigo and later studied photography at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, eventually earning a Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute.
Since March 2023, she has been pursuing a PhD at the University of Art and Design Linz, where she is developing an artistic research project focused on verticality policies and acts of territorialization in aerial and underground spaces. Her work has been exhibited internationally at institutions such as the Contemporary Jewish Museum (San Francisco), Kunsthalle (Vienna), MAXXI (Rome), and Condeduque (Madrid). Her audiovisual works have also been presented at film festivals like Kasserler Dokfest, Diagonale, Curtocircuíto, and DokuFest. She has received numerous grants and awards, such as the Pixel Bytes + Film grant, the DKV Álvarez Margaride grant, and the Murphy & Cadogan Award. Currently, Enar is enjoying a research fellowship at the ifk International Research Center for Cultural Studies. Additionally, Enar is co-founder of the scientific-artistic project SEEC Photography and a member of The Golden Pixel Cooperative, a Viennese association for video art and experimental cinema.
