Mauro Entrialgo


Mauro Entrialgo has drawn and written countless comics for newspapers (El País, Diario 16, Journal Basque, Gaceta del Norte ...) and magazines (El Jueves, El Víbora, Makoki, El gran musical, Playboy, Cinemanía ... ) harvesting awards for this work (such as "autor revelación 1994" of the "Salón Internacional de Barcelona" or "best humor writer 1997 and 2006" at the "Diario de Avisos" of Tenerife).

More than twenty books about humor have been graphically edited and published so far. He is a founding member of the board of directors of the magazine TMEO and currently maintains a daily strip in the newspaper Público and a weekly page in  El Jueves.

He has also produced several animated spots (like the agenda of the FNAC or the campaign of La 2), dozens of posters (like the movie "The Guardian Angel" on the "International Jazz Festival Vitoria-Gasteiz "or the first" Festimad "), hundreds of album covers (for groups such as" Pleasure Fuckers, "" Pribata Idaho "or" Patrullero Mancuso) and thousands of other printed items (shirts, calendars, stickers, mouse pads, badges, lighters, aprons, shower curtains, coasters, ipod covers, mouse pads ...).
 
In addition of being a writer, he has written a film (Gente Pez), has participated in a series of cartoons (Cuttlas) has created (alone or in collaboration with others) four plays ("Herminio and Miguelito ", " 30 millones de gilipollas ", "No hay huevos" and " Se empieza con los porros ") (the first two available even in book format) and has also worked for television (Paramount Comedy, Street 13) and collaborated on programs as a commentator on popular culture and society in television ( "Nada que perder" and "Noche sin tregua" on the Paramount Comedy and T / blog on Localia) as well as radio ("La Ventana" in the cadena SER).

As an artist he has made a handful of individual installations and exhibitions ( "Cultural Resource Center of the CAM" in Madrid, Valencia II Purgatori gallery, gallery "Casa Ubu" at Vitoria ...), participated in many joint projects ("Festivals of Navarre ", " Teach your wounds", " The mountain travels", " Art and electricity"), projected videographic parts (those belonging to the series "Small pieces of my life" are the most popular) in many festivals (Photoespaña in Madrid, Offf festival in Valencia, Visionary in Siena, Zemos 98 in Seville, Optics of Gijón ...) and even won a prize with them (better clip Fonart 2005 in Mallorca).

As a musician he has performed a multitude of places and recorded with Fat Esteban and Esteban light half dozen albums, and soundtracks for plays, films and video art pieces.
