Olmo Cuña holds a degree in Visual Arts from the Facultade de Belas Artes de Pontevedra and a master's degree in Artistic Production from the Universitat Politècnica de València. In 2016 he completed the SOMA Educational Program in Mexico City. 

Olmo Cuña's activity starts from everyday experiences in different places around him, showing special interest in observing and questioning how the most generalized ways of approaching the territory operate through the image. His processes, which are located in the encounter between manual and digital production processes, often incorporate activations with which he seeks to propose other conditions of perception with respect to a particular cultural, landscape or urban scenario.
