At the border between Morocco and Spain, a group of travellers wait anxiously to cross into Europe. They survive one failed attempt after another while trying to keep hope alive for the whole group. Les Voyageurs, woven with a camera and a few songs, resonates as a powerful gesture of resistance.

The film is the matured result of our 1st Contrapicada Production Call, where David Bingong and Irene Gutiérrez came together to work with the materials David had filmed during his migration to Spain. A unique film about crossing North Africa, the fences and the crossing of the strait as we had not seen so far. We wish it all the luck in the competition and, once it has finished its tour of festivals, it will be available in the Hamaca catalogue for consultation and distribution and will move through the public programmes.
