Amarillo atlántico [Atlantic Yellow] is the name of the unique variety of granite from the Serra da Groba, located along the most meridional and straight coastline of Galicia; a crossing point for initiatory paths since the Sumerian culture. Due to its richness and unfamiliarity, it represents a great book of stone in which ancient wisdoms and powerful cosmo-telluric forces are hidden, having persisted in the cultural process as residues of rusticity, resisting the division between orthodoxy and idolatry. Still and moving images combine and are tainted by the film material itself, resignifying these notions related to the love for the unfathomability of the wilderness, although structurally assimilated as illusion and ignorance.
