These thirty minutes are filled with interviews and other work material related to the collaborative design of the videogame Bordergames. If, as defined from the Enlightenment, autonomy is the coming together of ends and means, and the capacity to give oneself the rules for one’s own development, then this documentary clearly shows that Bordergames is autonomy. And not just that, Bordergames (the documentary) is also an example of the potential of art when it stops being understood as forced self-referentiality and starts to become a constitutive part of the new artistic agencilities and interconnected politics.
