Cuerpo glaciar [Glacial Body] is an audiovisual essay that, in the form of an archive, presents different approaches to three mountain glaciers: Conejeras (Colombia), Aneto (Spain), and Mer de Glace (France). It is a "documentary desktop" where the evolution of glaciers is critically examined through experience, affection, and poetic and scientific discourse. This non-fiction essay is composed of a collage of concerns and speculations, a reflection unfolding across the territory through the exploration of the historical and recent memory of the glacier. The video consists of personal and external footage sequences, blended through navigations within computer windows. The camera follows the drawing process to reveal fissures and stories, both close and distant. The narration seeks an emotional connection with the territory, a dialogue with experts, and an exploration of various approaches. Filtered through the archive and experience, it delves into a sensitive, subjective intimacy with the glacial body.
