The word "reification" has two meanings: the reification of human processes, relations and actions, becoming independent of man and governing his existence; or the projecting of human characteristics onto objects and abstractions, as if they possessed life.
Reificación investigates, through two actions, the individual body and the social body as ideologically charged spaces. Juan David Galindo arranges all the objects that he would carry on any given day on the floor - like extensions and in the manner of a striptease, until he undresses. At the same time, taking his pants as a leitmotiv and appropriating texts, images and information via Google, he elaborates a public-private pendulum narrative in which both bodies oscillate.
