Enric Farrés Duran (Barcelona, 1983) has a university degree in Art and Design (Escuela Massana, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), a degree in Philosophy (Universitat de Barcelona), a Master in Artistic Production and Research (Universitat de Barcelona), and a PhD in Fine Arts from the Universitat de Barcelona. His work is articulated from research, coincidences and fortuitous encounters, and the possibility of making connections between different places, objects and circumstances. Farrés Duran creates narratives that reveal hidden and unexpected relationships, sometimes involving different times and places, in which reality and fiction end up meeting and changing. The story, narrated and written, plays an essential role in the information it provides to bring us closer to the process and the connections it establishes. His projects are formalized in installations, guided tours, guided visits, books and videos.

As an artist he has been represented by Nogueras Blanchard Gallery and Bombon Projects Gallery. He combines the production of personal work with university research, development of projects in independent publishing houses and accompaniment of artistic creation projects.
