El viatge frustrat [The Frustrated Voyage] is a contemporary re-creation of the tale of the same title by the writer Josep Pla, featuring an artist and a collector who set sail on a voyage to France. Although major events do not happen, the journey records everyday life that gives rise to some of the key themes of art, such as roles, international expansion and productive time. The journey is the pretext for recording everyday life, which without major events gives rise to conversations on key issues of the art system, such as power roles, productivity, failure or emancipation, without intervening, letting oneself be carried along, in a metaphorical and literal sense, in tow of an other.
