The HAMACA archive contains more than a thousand pieces of video that date from the 70s to nowadays. One of the aims of the platform is to reunite, order and classify this audiovisual material, so to organize its distribution constructing thematic axes and facilitating its critical and historiographic reading by specialists and general public.

In this line, research proposals that are promoted include the creation of curated thematic packs and initiatives of anthological revision of video in the Spanish context such as the project Anthology/Apology.

Thanks to this strategical line, HAMACA impulses the research on experimental video in the Spanish context, contributing to the investigation and to the broadcast of the medium to a wider audience.
