Thinking about the near future, El Fracaso es mi Estilo [Faliure is my Style] is born from an attempt to rediscover identity in a space of contradictions. To discover the queer body and dissidence is not exempt from constraints of impossible aspirations such as "success". If dissidence is a position that attempts to change our hegemonic reality, why not change the idea of success as well, which is the essential issue of the contemporary existance. If dissidence didn't dare to err or fail, would it be a failure for dissidence to cry for love?

In their artistic practice House of Tupamaras collective makes use of collective writing process, which they understand as stealing, mending, weaving and unweaving. All those parts are in fact ways of approaching the word and identity. Collective writing asks how to write ourselves away from the absolute truths and how to fail better every day.

This project appears thanks to an invitation by Theater Neumarkt and Goethe-Institut/Performing Architecture (Zurich) in collaboration with Sale Docks (Venice) and Florian Malzacher to be part of "IOO WAYS TO SAY WE" in 2022. It participated in the exhibition "A FLOWER AND A THOUSAND PATHS", curated by Santiago Tavera at Céline Bureau (Montreal).
