The main theme and object of this piece is, once again, as the title clearly suggests, death, a recurrent protagonist in Perumanes’ works. In La muerte de nuevo, the artist focuses on the image of what seems to be the interior of the mirrors and windows of a lighthouse. The mirrored surfaces, in a constant clockwise circular movement, distort all that is reflected on them, and so, any kind of logical spacial representation is prevented. On the other side of the mirrors is the figure of a man, always in the same place. A fixed shot records this image for the three minutes that the video lasts. The result is an ethereal, transparent and distant piece.

Overimposed on the image we can read a text about the death of someone close, which unfolds together with the image. Although the play of the mirror and glass surfaces make up an image that is close to a mirage, the text is the closest thing to an epitaph, a farewell text.
