The video follows the movement of the 22-tonne block of stone from its extraction from the quarry near Hebron, its transport through the Arroub refugee camp to the factory where it was prepared for export, through border controls at the port of Ashdod and finally to Barcelona. Interspersed with moments of everyday life as they move through the southern West Bank, including scenes that present the omnipresence of other stones within the landscape and playful activities. Leish la'a [Why not?] plays with the absurdity of the initial purpose of trying to move, simultaneously, a subject and a massive object from the same territory, with the notable absence of the subject.
