Packers is an appropriation documentary short film that integrates a series of short pieces entitled (Self)exhibitions, which recovers domestic videos from the internet to talk about new experiences of self-representation and exhibition of intimacy that have arisen in the context of the web and social networks.
Private experiences, of a confessional nature, that become public and are exposed in the virtual space, giving rise to new narratives about oneself. The film illustrates the dynamics of repetitions and imitations that condition these new ways of showing ourselves.
Packers is one of the seven pieces that make up this series. You can see (Self)exhibitions in HAMACA catalogue.
