Shelter is a video essay in the form of a correspondence, in which the construction of shelters in nature (precarious architectures that would only serve to survive one night in a hostile or unknown environment), serves as an excuse to initiate a conversation about questions such as traceability and cardinality, technique and time. Shelter explores the forms that emergent thought takes as a material configuration, even if it is only gesture or word or phonic matter, however ephemeral it might seem.
On a formal level, the video consists of the concatenation of different chapters or capsules corresponding to the recording of the construction of these shelters, each one of them located in a different place. The work of building these structures or simple roofs, as a gesture of provisional settlement in a place, serves as an excuse to develop a text in which questions ranging from the personal to the political, from the anecdotal to the description or the abstract approach are dealt with.
