The Boogie-Woogie Ghost is a circular ghost film shot inside a village house. The image of this film is constantly modified through the movement of bodies that remain invisible, permanently hiding in a choreography in which they play hide-and-seek with the camera at every turn. These bodies act as ghosts, presences that produce actions without being seen.

The ordinary space of the house is suddenly transported to other domestic but also abstract, spatial conceptions, based on the relations established between the different scales of the objects, vanishing points, mixed materialities... The objects in the house move, tremble or fall for no apparent reason: an imitation painting of a baroque painter, a blue porcelain swan, glassware, work planks, a cushion with a jungle motif, a photograph that duplicates the same domestic space. All of them dance with each other, generating different relationships that make them slide out of their contours.

In this excited perception of the iteration of the image, a film is produced that provokes a materialisation of time stripped of linearity. The editing of the images works within the logic of what is not seen at the very moment of capture. In this way, editing becomes dance, or dance becomes editing: a dance of ghosts.
