Weird war is a found footage film that recovers a super 8 documentary film from the Second World War. Using no camera techniques, this film shows explotions in the sky upside down, wounded and blury soldiers, perforations on the celluloid and abstract painted images. The soundtrack is built from a distorted voice over, music turned into uncomfortable noises and the sound of taking off airplanes. All this conforms the absurdity of war.
