Silvia Maestre Limiñana's work is based on the creation of fictional or real narratives, or a mixture of both, to show the life that resides in the margins, that is, the life that has been silenced in order to be exploited for the benefit of others or -if this is not possible- eliminated.
Video is the main medium she uses in their production, although she combines photography, installation, writing and performance depending on the narrative they's working on. They began training as a lawyer, with a degree in Law (Universitat d'Alacant, 2013) and studies in the Master of International Human Rights Law (Europa-Universität Viadrina, 2017); until they finally ends up training also as an artist in the Master in Cultural Studies and Visual Arts (Universitat Miguel Hernández, 2022). Silvia Maestre's artistic career began in Berlin (Fieber Festival, 2017) and later they settled between Alacant and Barcelona. They has participated in the following exhibitions: "Baños públicos, cotidianidad y género" (Museu de la Universitat d'Alacant, 2021), "Ser Enferma" (Emergències 3, Barcelona, 2021), "IDA vol.1 " (Ullal Festival, Barcelona, 2022), "¿Quién Seguirá Aquí?" (Nit de l'Art, Altea, 2022), "Lo que nos cuenta la tierra: dinosaurios, extraterrestres y fin del mundo". Festival Alçar la terra, Alacant, 2022) and "Hogar Diska" (Museu Santa Mònica, Barcelona, 2022).
