The hippocampus is a brain structure related to memory and its link to emotions and memories. It is part of the limbic system, or emotional brain, which is where neurons manage moods. This system is also credited with regulating involuntary, or unconscious, memory, attention, emotions, personality and behavior.
Using images from family movies, Salvi Vivancos begins an investigation into the memory contained in these domestic recordings as a means to explore the uncharted realm of emotion generation.
